Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how WriterAI.cc ("WriterAI", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information. When you sign up with email or with Google (via Supabase authentication), we receive your email address and, if you use Google Sign-In, your basic Google profile (name, email, profile picture). We do not receive your Google password.
- Content you create. Articles, drafts, prompts, style settings, images, and other content you generate or upload through the Service.
- Connected services. If you connect a WordPress site, we store the credentials or tokens needed to publish on your behalf.
- Usage & technical data. Basic log data (IP address, browser type, timestamps) and cookies used to keep you signed in.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To generate content using AI models based on your input.
- To publish content to services you explicitly connect (e.g. WordPress).
- To communicate with you about your account or important service changes.
3. AI Processing
Content you submit for generation is sent to third-party AI providers (including Google's Gemini API) solely to produce the requested output. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train our own models.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following processors, each with their own privacy practices:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Google — Sign-In and the Gemini AI API.
- WordPress — only when you connect a site to publish.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. You may delete your content or request deletion of your account at any time, after which we remove your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
6. Your Rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
